Gerry is a third generation aviator and self taught artist. He began creating original works as a sideline business while in the U.S. Air Force as a jet aircraft mechanic. He has been a contributor to the Air Force Art Program since 1981, through which his art hangs in the halls of the Pentagon and other government installations around the world. He has had the opportunity to fly in a variety of aircraft ranging from the Lockheed T-33 to the F-16. A charter member of the American Society of Aviation Artists, he has served on the Board of Trustees as well as chairing the Public Relations Committee. He was vice president for two years and currently serves as president. He has created works for book covers, calendars, and magazines, as well as model kit “box art.” He resides in Fort Worth Texas with his wife Meg and their sons, Ronald and Philip.
